Stop Hunger Now 
$3001 was raised and 15,000 servings were packaged by over 60 youth & adults from the New Bern District
(page through our photos for a glimpse of what it was like to be a part of this ministry event)  Assembly line for filling packets - five people per funnel  Assembly line for completing packets - weighing & sealing  Each packet provides 6 servings  Position plastic bag  Add soy flour  Add seasoning & nutrient tablet  Add dehydrated vegetables  Add rice  Runners take filled packets to next assembly line  Weigh and add/subtract rice as needed  Seal the packet  Sealed packets are counted  Counted packets are boxed  Boxes are sealed  Boxes are added to the pallet  Boxes will be stored at the MERCI center until shipped overseas  Each time a thousand servings are in the truck - the gong sounds  The Refill crew keep the supplies coming  This is actually fun!  Heart IS the Difference - this Saturday, heart rules  Everyone contributes to the effort  Folks from 19 churches join together  Many hands move the packets along  Almost done  Two packets on each square - keep those bags coming  Love that sound! Another 1000 down!  That last 1000 meals only took us FOUR MINUTES to complete!  We are getting this done!  The job's not compete until everything is neat!  This is GREAT! Next year lets do more!
