DBOM

August 24, 2008 is the date when we are scheduled to receive a Special Offering for Disciple Bible Outreach Ministries of North Carolina (DBOM). Offering envelope have been provided to every church and promotional DVDs are available from your district office.

 

DBOM oversees Disciple Bible Study ministry in our adult prison system and Rings of Fellowship in our Youth Development Centers. More than 8,000 inmates and 350 lay and clergy volunteers have been served by this powerful ministry of our conference!

 

DBOM provides free Disciple and Rings training in every one of our districts. Ours is the only state across the connection providing this free training program.

 

How grateful we are for all who have worked so hard to make this DBOM so strong. How encouraged we are by the faithfulness of our prision volunteers and the impact they are making on the lives of adult and youth inmates and their families. How blessed we are by all that DISCIPLE Bible Study has done for our United Methodist Church. How we rejoice for the transforming power of God's Holy Word!
